I will always be there for her 

Often at a distance 

But always close in prayer 

Writing cards of love and devotion 

With gifts of Lapis Lazuli and Turquoise…

 

This truly pure righteous woman 

Set apart by God

Walking with his favour 

She remains the gatekeeper of my heart 

I can truly love no other…

 

Our meetings are fleeting yet

My loyalty is true 

Hiding behind a tree 

Just to kiss her shadow 

As she passes by

Stooping to pick daisies 

Smiling singing with the birds…

 

Oh! How l love her so 

Please God hear my prayer 

Let us meet again soon 

Once more to gently touch her hand 

Look into her eyes 

That recalibrate my soul…

 

The seasons come, they go

Yet she stays forever 

A cool summer breeze 

Blowing through the trees 

That whisper her name…

 

I weep like a lost boy

As my love draws near 

Most beautiful amongst women 

With a fragrance that surpasses flowers 

Her purity, her grace 

Capturing my soul 

For all eternity 

My Lady Lapis Lazuli….
