The Zionists want to annihilate all Palestinian life. They are especially bloodthirsty when it comes to young men and boys, viewing them as an obstacle to Israel’s planned dominance of all aspects of life in Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and far beyond. But it’s not just religious extremists who hold this murderous conviction, it’s the nice smooth, chic liberals too, including the ever-so-nice smooth and chic rainbow flag liberal owners of North Kensington restaurant, Miznon.

“The boy, no.”

In 2010 when I visited the region, I encountered an Australian-Palestinian woman and her two small children who were crossing into Jordan from the occupied West Bank. Israel controls the Allenby Bridge crossing on its Palestinian side, giving it the power to coerce and abuse the indigenous population.

The woman had taken her daughter and son to Ramallah to obtain their Palestinian passports, an important action in the preservation of her family’s Palestinian identity. The mother was in despair and told me that the Israelis had given her an ultimatum: to give up the children’s passports and continue on to Jordan and then Australia, or to remain in limbo at the crossing indefinitely. She had travelled to Palestine with one objective, to get the passports, and now faced a heart-wrenching decision.

I spoke to an Israeli official and asked why they were detaining the young family. He took me to the side and explained: “The girl is okay, but the boy, no.”

I asked why the boy couldn’t be allowed to travel on unhindered. He looked at me as if I was sure to understand his next comment: “because he is Palasteeenian.”

The conversation continued in the same way for a few minutes. Me asking him to state what the problem was with the boy being Palestinian, the security man earnestly explaining, “he is Palasteeenian” and eventually the underlying fact, “He will grow into a man” as if this were something perverse and not just nature taking its course.

Rights

This family had rights, supposedly guaranteed by the international community. But their rights and the rights of their compatriots mean nothing to the Zionist movement, operating with free rein thanks to overtly Zionist governments like Keir Starmer’s.

As Israel kills the Palestinians in Gaza, they also kill international law, diplomacy and hope. A state invented by white supremacist colonialists accepts only surrender or servility from the indigenous population.

Genocide is the predictable conclusion to the dehumanising of another people. That is why the Israeli official at the Allenby crossing did not try to persuade me that his treatment of the small child was fair. To his ideology, which is uncompromising almost beyond the comprehension of a normal human being, the boy was an existential threat.

Prostitutes

Western politicians prostitute themselves to the Zionist movement, then abuse the law to clamp down on domestic resistance. The Zionists rely on bribery, kompromat, corruption and, above all, the weakness of western leaders who are losing credibility and popularity by the day. None of them have changed course on Israel. They prefer political suicide.

As Israel enters its final solution in the Gaza death camp, many feel powerless to act. But the Zionist enemies of humanity aren’t all in illegal settlements; they aren’t all in high office. Some are carrying on with business-as-usual in our neighbourhoods.

We previously reported on Miznon, the North Kensington restaurant selling appropriated cuisine and owned by two proactive participants in the genocide.

One owner, Shahar Segal, was until July spokesman for the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a private company established by the United States and Israel. The company lures Palestinians to “aid distribution centres” in Gaza so that Israeli soldiers can murder them in their thousands. Segal is therefore (prima facie) complicit in Israel’s crimes, for which he might one day face justice.

Segal’s co-owner is Eyal Shani, a fanatic Zionist and celebrity chef who provides 3000 meals a day to Israeli soldiers who, in turn, starve the people of Gaza.

The complacency is sickening. Miznon’s owners continue making money with their appropriated cuisine and are rewarded with puff pieces in Tatler rather than arrests for (prima facie) war crimes. Such is the impunity afforded Israelis by the British establishment, unaffected or perhaps gratified by the extreme contrast between Erev’s food porn and the systematic starvation of Palestinian children.

Two weeks ago, Israel’s Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich made an apologetic statement to the Israeli people, asking them to forgive the “painful discomfort” they were feeling at the thought of any food reaching the Palestinians in Gaza. He agreed “we shouldn’t even give water to the Gaza Strip” but explained that, for political expediency, “the bare minimum will reach the population, simply so the world won’t stop us and accuse us of war crimes.”

Men?

Back to the issue of targeting males. Segal and Shani’s GHF and IDF use their “aid distribution sites” to lure Palestinians to their deaths. And which Palestinians are they? The ones who have the strength and stamina, including elite athletes, to walk miles in high temperatures through a war zone to collect food for their families.

They want to kill them all. If that isn’t clear to you after almost two years of genocide, you are choosing to live in unreality. If it is clear to you, then perhaps it’s time to take action to challenge the Zionists closest to home…
