Israel and the states and institutions that enable it constitute the global Zionist movement. This movement fortifies the illegal occupation of Palestine and expansion of ‘Greater Israel’ through money, manipulation and influence. The Zionist movement is not interested in compromise or peace. It does not want to see occupied people incorporated into Israeli society and it blocks the fulfilment of the right of return of millions of refugees back to their homes. The Zionist movement – whether the wanted war criminal Netanyahu or the corrupted news editors of the mainstream western media – wants Israel to control the land without the burden of looking after the native people, and it works tirelessly at every conceivable level in pursuit of this goal.

Backed by the Zionist movement, Israel rejects the presence of conventional politics among the Palestinians, leaving resistance as the only form of political action open to the subjugated people of the Holy Land. This word resistance incorporates actions taken across multiple fronts aimed at subverting the murderous colonial system. Because the lobbying network of the Zionist movement is sophisticated and extremely influential, with politicians targeted before they secure positions of power, it is unlikely that those currently holding visible power – prime ministers, chancellors, media barons – will ever challenge Zionism. This means that those wanting to resist the Zionists’ political, economic and propaganda networks must do so piecemeal at community level, while also seeking to educate the wider public about the dark realities of Zionism.

As Israel has tightened its grip militarily over its neighbours through occupation (Palestine, Syria, Lebanon) and bombardment (Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon and Yemen), it has suffered a corresponding public relations defeat. For the first time, most Americans now view Israel unfavourably, something that was unthinkable before the genocide in Gaza. This loss of favour among Anglosphere populations is seen as an existential crisis by the Zionist movement, which knows Israel will be unable to dominate the Middle East without the patronage of bigger western states.

But there is no going back. For the Zionists, hesitate now and the Arabs and Iranians might finally unite to defeat Israel. For those opposing genocide, the extent of the Zionist movement’s malevolent influence over western states and societies has become clear and the reality of Israel’s true goal – extermination of the native people – has become impossible to deny. In these circumstances, it would be unforgivable folly to think that compromise with the Zionist movement is the way forward, or even possible.
